The Official Launch PARTY for PlayMe Burlesque!
On Tuesday, September 13, 2011 photographer Malgorzata (Maggie) Saniewska unveiled the PlayMe Burlesque deck of cards at Mystique Ultra Lounge. The party consisted of a red carpet “pre-show” at 7:00pm and three performance sets at 8, 9, and 10pm. Spinning by DJ Manero all night. Performances by: Jo “Boobs” Weldon,"The Headmistress and Founder of the NY School of Burlesque"; Dame CuchiFrita, "A dish best served FIERCE"; Delysia La Chatte,"The Feline Fatale of Burlesque"; Medianoche,"The Sin in an Hourglass"; Cheeky Lane, Professional Escapist; Gal Friday, "The Five Alarm of Burlesque"; Calamity Chang, "The Asian Sexsation"; Peekaboo Pointe,"The Fastest Tassel Twirler from East to West”; Ms. Tickle, "The Mystical Mistress Of Tease". And the (f)emcee for the night will be Honi Harlow, a burlesque veteran who has played many of New York’s theaters and burlesque clubs, and choreographed the burlesque numbers for NBC TV show “The Black Donnelly’s,” produced by the Emmy Award-winning Paul Haggis.
